Dementia Community Roadshow

The Dementia Community Roadshow is currently visiting Tesco stores across the UK, providing a lifeline to people whose lives are touched by dementia. It aims to reach 100,000 people over the next three years, providing information and advice to anyone with questions about dementia, or those who are worried about their memory.

If you would like the Roadshow to visit your local Tesco store, please fill in the request the Roadshow form and we will do our best to reach everyone who needs us.

Since launching in June the Roadshow vehicles have already visited over 50 Tesco stores, provided advice to more than 2,000 people and handed out over 15,000 pieces of information. You can now read some of the comments and feedback that visitors have left so far.

The Roadshow is staffed by trained Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland volunteers who provide information and advice about dementia, signpost people to essential services in their area, and help bring people with concerns about their memory one step closer to achieving a diagnosis. There are still a huge number of people who are not being diagnosed or are being diagnosed late. You can take a look at the figures by visiting our Dementia Map
